The University graduates hundreds of students each year in a number of IT disciplines, ranging from software engineering through to electronic games design. In addition UCE has several major projects designed to assist companies and organisations. These include Media Content Lab and Open Advantage. Open Advantage is a major project promoting the development and use of open source software in the West Midlands.The project website is at http://www.openadvantage.org
The University's Technology Innovation Centre runs IT programmes for business and industry, including Cisco and Microsoft accreditation. TIC website is at http://www.tic.ac.uk/
